On Friday, November 24, 2023, in Bangkok, Thailand, a notable gathering took place at the headquarters of the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC). Key figures in the world of volleyball came together for a memorable photo. Among them were Mr. Shanrit Wongprasert, the esteemed Honorary Life Vice President and Executive Director of AVC, who stood third from the left. Joining him were Dr. Rueangsak Siriphol, the AVC General Manager, positioned third from the right, and AVC Secretary General Mr. Kiattipong Radchatagriengkai, who was at the far left of the group.

Mr. Somporn Chaibangyang, President of the Thailand Volleyball Association, led the FIVB and Volleyball World officials, including Mr. Luis Alexandre and Mr. Guido Betti, in a productive discussion with Ms. Sudawan Wangsuphakitkosol, Thailand’s Minister of Tourism and Sports. This meeting, held at the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, focused on Thailand’s potential and its ambitious bid to host the prestigious 20th edition of the FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship in 2025. Mr. Shanrit and Mr. Kiattipong were also key participants in this significant discussion.
