The FIVB Development Commission recently held its annual meeting, focusing on the achievements and future of the FIVB Volleyball Empowerment and Development programs. The meeting, conducted in a hybrid format, saw significant participation and discussion on a range of topics, including the investment of 24 million CHF in 846 projects across 195 National Federations.
Additionally, the meeting highlighted the approval of 159 grants by Olympic Solidarity for volleyball and beach volleyball, amounting to over 4.3 million USD.
The upcoming launch of the FIVB Foundation and updates from Zonal Associations were also key discussion points. These developments mark a significant step towards enhancing volleyball and beach volleyball globally.
